I. 罗德岛希望奖学金计划概述

2023年6月, esball官方网制定了罗德岛希望奖学金试点项目法案(“希望”). 国际扶轮希望立法的三个目的是:

To increase the number of students enrolling in and completing four (4) year degrees and certificates on time from Rhode Island College (RIC);

The RI CPE policies and procedures relating to this program are expected to be approved on or before October 1, 2023.

The purpose of this 希望奖学金 Policy Manual is to further clarify RIC’s interpretation of the 希望奖学金 legislation and the CPE Policies and Procedures. This document describes the policies and processes that RIC uses in its administration of the 希望奖学金 program.

II. 希望奖学金对学生的好处

IV. 国际扶轮希望奖学金资格要求

The student must qualify for in-state tuition and fees pursuant to the Residency Policy adopted by the Council of Postsecondary Education, 修订的, 补充, 重申, 或不时以其他方式修改. (请参阅 http://riopc.edu/policies/residencypolicy/).
The student must be a currently enrolled full-time student who has declared a major and earned the minimum credits as described below in subsection (7). 转学生不符合资格.

A student who enrolls in fewer than twelve (12) credits in a given semester will be removed from the 希望奖学金 program.

V. 特殊情况下

(5) Students enrolled in certain academic programs that have been identified as needing additional time to complete (i.e., in excess of 120 credits); students who require developmental education; or students in double majors may be considered “on track to graduate” for the purposes of 希望奖学金 program, 即使他们不能在四(4)年内完成学士学位. 符合这些标准的学生, “即将毕业”将根据他们的课程长度来确定.

VI. 残疾学生希望奖学金

A student with a disability shall be afforded reasonable accommodations as necessary to provide students with an equal opportunity to benefit from the 希望奖学金. 由RIC残疾服务中心(DSC)批准的减轻课程负担的残疾相关住宿的学生可以被视为全日制学生，以便有资格获得希望奖学金. 但是，学生必须符合所有其他相关资格标准.

Please note: Students who are permanently approved for this accommodation do not need to reapply for the reduced course load accommodation every semester. 住宿将适用于该学年和以后的学期.

7. 上诉过程

Any student who believes they have met all of the eligibility criteria under the 希望奖学金 program but has been denied may submit a 希望奖学金资格申诉表. 由于本政策手册第五部分所述的特殊情况，任何认为自己有资格获得希望奖学金的学生也应提交此申诉表.

8. 重返希望奖学金资格

(1) GPA提高

IX. 错误地自付学费

X. 大学学分

Under limited circumstances listed below a student may use credits earned prior to first time full-time enrollment at RIC toward the 60-credit program requirement. Students entering with any form of prior credit are still required to continuously enroll full time each semester at RIC to be eligible for the 希望奖学金.

College credit earned through dual and/or concurrent enrollment programs that are recognized by Rhode Island College (e.g. RIC燃灯, CCRI加速, 高中充实和跑步开始, 某些大学水平的国际扶轮全课程网络课程和某些其他可转换课程)将被计算在学生在前两年必须获得的60学分中，以获得希望奖学金资格.
